Make sure you take some time out to relax. Have a nice bath, watch a film, do some yoga or cuddle up with your partner - however you do it, just remember to take some time out, as your baby will feel the benefits.
Have a go at antenatal yoga. Yoga designed for pregnancy can help tone up your body, but most classes also teach special relaxation tips too. These can help relieve any stress you’re experiencing during pregnancy, as well as ease worry about the birth itself.
Swimming is ideal during pregnancy, as the water is supportive, and it’s not too exhausting. If you fancy a class, most places offer antenatal swimming sessions, but if a swimming pool isn’t for you, enjoy a nice long soak in the bath instead.
The scent of mint can help to reduce fatigue so brush your teeth, suck a mint, sniff some essential oils or lather up with mint shower gel when you need to feel more alert!
Carry your maternity notes. It is wise to carry these with you when you are travelling, so that in an emergency, people are alerted to any special conditions you may have.
Moisturise your skin frequently. Using good moisturisers on your skin will help you to feel fresh and supple and also help avoid stretch marks.
Hydrate yourself. Make sure you sip water throughout the day. It is easy to become dehydrated, especially in an aeroplane. Buy a spray that contains refined water, or aromatherapy oils, to keep your skin hydrated.
